Works presented at the exhibition, under the common title D.O.M. they are a diploma in the painting of Andrzej Żygadło.
The term "home" has a very rich and extensive layer of meaning and can be understood as a home for the body, spirit and soul. Like homelessness, which is the antonym for these concepts. These planes, in principle, occur in one reality and are often intertwined, combining elements of life and death. The term being the common denominator for all these semantic planes is for Żygadła - Deo Optimo Maximo, or in short D. O. M. The backbone of the diploma is presented in Nova in January this year. the "Chram" project, supplemented with new canvases, and images referring directly to the title of the diploma thesis.
A large contrast to the painting are drawings, which are annexes to the diploma titled Tabu. They are works of art for which the common denominator is reflection on human sexuality and its exploitation in today's culture. They are largely a commentary on the collapse of artistic capital or ordinary popularity, based on sexual exhibitionism and not on the target cultural product.
