BIO
Michał Chudzicki – born in Kraśnik, graduated from the state high school of fine arts. Bernardo Morando in Zamość. In the years 2006-2011 he studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He obtained a diploma in the studio of Prof. Leszek Misiak. He deals mainly with painting and col-lage, as well as installation, film and photography. In his work, one can find many references and clear inspirations from the art of the great masters of the Renaissance, Dadaism and surrealism of the 20th century avant-garde. He is a co-founder of the Roboczogodzowa collective, with whom in 2011 he created a project as part of the Grolsh Art Boom Festival. From 2011, he created the fig-ure of Bruno Lark (1901-1936), a fictional artist, creating fictional works for this creation. He used fiction as a tool to question the history of art, and to conduct a kind of experiment by examining whether we need works of art as spectators or only creators of art with their well-known names.
